Welcome to table tennis club Spaarne
Spaarne is dé tafeltennisvereniging in Haarlem waar al sinds 1957 op verschillende niveaus getafeltennist wordt. Op dit moment bestaat onze vereniging voor ongeveer de helft uit competitie spelers die in de regionale NTTB competitie uitkomen. De andere leden vinden het vooral leuk om eens per week onderling de krachten te meten.
Under the guidance of expert trainers, training is given to the youth three times a week from August each year. The Thursday evening is especially a recreational evening in which a trainer, if you wish, gives training and on the Wednesday evenings the advanced players train. And there are internal and external tournaments throughout the year, many of which are also open to outsiders.
In our room we have enough space for five table tennis tables, and we also have our own bar area where a drink can be enjoyed after an effort. Our room on the Maerten van Heemskerckstraat is available all year round and is open almost every day.
